Woman in a wheelchair fell onto the rails of a Metro station in Prince George, MD
A woman falls in the subway train tracks in Prince George's County.
the accident was recorded on Thursday around 6:15 AM at the Suitland metro station.
The victim was in his wheelchair on the platform when he accidentally fell on the rails of the green line Metro train, remaining a few meters from the third rail, which is electrified.
Prince George's County fire units rescued the victim and later transported her to a local hospital with non-threatening injuries.
The Metro authorities did not give more details about what caused the woman to fall on the train lines, they only said that it had been an accident.
