Traffic stop leads to 704 grams of Marijuana in Anne Arundel County, MD
BROOKLYN PARK, Md. | A traffic stop led to hundreds of grams of marijuana.
An Anne Arundel County police officer initiated a traffic stop around 8:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Marshall Road and Ninth Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
Officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the car. Police said the officer searched the car and found almost 704 grams of suspected marijuana, scales, material used for packaging drugs and $1,270 in cash.
Police said Zachary Michael Virella, 21, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged.
