Pennsylvania Governor Says Election Results May Not Be Known on Wednesday
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf said that results in the potentially decisive state might not be known Wednesday, citing the extra time it will take to count millions of mail ballots in the state.
Mr. Wolf, a Democrat, said that accuracy is the priority. “Make no mistake, our democracy is being tested in this election,” he told reporters.
The state’s chief election official, Kathy Boockvar, said Wednesday that Pennsylvania has received at least 2.6 million mail ballots. She said many county election officials are working around the clock to count ballots. - (wsj)
