The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating a murder that occurred in

an apartment in the 20000 block of Frederick Road in Germantown yesterday. The victim was identified as Russell Troy Huffman, 38 years of age,

On January 4, at around 4:54 p.m., Officers and Fire and Rescue workers responded and found Huffman inside the house suffering from injuries to his upper body. He was found dead in the apartment.

Huffman’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
