Today, MD Health Dept

reports 183,797 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Maryland. The statewide positivity rate is now 6.88% Maryland has 4,293 deaths, 2,054,695 negative tests and 8,511 patients have been released from isolation.


On Saturday, the state reported a new daily high of 51,510 tests completed. We have more than 230 testing sites available across the state and continue to expand operating hours and staff at community-based sites.


Beginning on Thanksgiving-eve, state troopers will support local authorities with compliance checks, with a focus on educating the public about existing orders and protocols, preventing super-spreading events, and assisting in enforcement actions when necessary.

WIRELESS EMERGENCY ALERT. On Wednesday, 11/25, at 5pm,

@MDMEMA will be sending a wireless emergency alert to cell phones across the state to remind Marylanders of critical #COVID19 prevention measures and provide info about state and local law enforcement actions.

PUBLIC HEALTH CAMPAIGN. The state is also launching a unified public health campaign with PSAs running on local TV and radio.
