The Maryland State Police and the Charles County Sheriff's deputies are on the scene of a serious accident in Waldorf on Friday morning.
The accident was confirmed time at 6:30 a.m. It included two cars and there were at least one person had been stuck inside.
Lanes were closed near Mattawoman Beantown Road at Pinefield Road in Waldorf when the police were responding and investigating. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if necessary on Friday morning.
The cause of the crash is also still under investigation.
