Baltimore New Year's Eve Shooting Suspect Charged
In response to the shooting that took place on 31 December 2020 on Eutaw Street on Mulberry
Street, as was the case earlier, a gunman was taken into custody soon after the shooting incident.
The perpetrator was identified as a 61-year-old Ronald Williamson of the 800 block of N.
It's Fremont Lane.Williamson was charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Attempt and is being held without bail at Central Booking.
Officers responded to the area by approaching a 52-year-old male who had been shot in the stomach.
The victim was admitted to the local hospital and is in critical condition.
Back up officers replied and searched the scene for potential witnesses and a suspected suspect.
As the officers marched into the 300 block of State Street (an alley), an anonymous person discarded a handgun. This person (potential suspect) has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
The arm has been recovered.
